Just got home from tour a few days ago and had a great time. It’s funny that I’ve been touring on and off for the the last 15 years. I should be getting tired of this lifestyle. Honestly this was the most fun I’ve had on tour in a long time. I’m really thankful that I’m still able to do this. At times I can be cynical about the changing world around me, and jaded by the few bad encounters I’ve had with people over the years.
Tour reminds me that most Americans are generous, interesting, funny, diligent, inspiring and optimistic people. In my daily normal life i stick to my close friends and family(whom i love). Tour connects me to a much larger picture of my world. Thanks to everyone who came out to shows and shared some beers and laughs. Can’t wait to do it again.
Special thanks to Tim Very for climbing into the Astro van and doing some old school DIY touring. He proved that he’s still a badass and loves playing music at any cost.
We have a few live tracks from the tour that we are releasing for free download. You can get these below.

Well, I’ve been busy as a bee. Approaching the final days of tracking my new record. It will be titled “American Soft” and coming out sometime in March. Mixing/Mastering/Manufacturing all happening in February.
Also getting ready to head out for a run of shows with my buddy Tim Very backing me on keys/percussion/bgv’s. He normally plays drums for Manchester Orchestra, but he’s got a little time off. I’m stoked to playing music with an old friend. It’s been a good long time since I’ve been this excited about playing shows. I made a little comercial to promote the tour, feel free to pass it around and help get the word out.
One last note about the house shows Im playing. All house shows are open to the public. Come out, make some new friends and have a good time. All addresses are listed in my show calendar. See you soon!

I’m using kickstarter to raise money for my new record. Basically I’m pre-selling my album to raise money to manufacture the album. Also I’m offering some exclusive rewards as well. Check it out at my kickstarter page.

Gearing up for tour! Im heading out in december for a co-headlining tour with Gardening, Not Architecture. We will be hitting the west coast, south west, and the south. We’ve created a facebook page just for the tour with all the pertinent dates and info. You can check that out here at The Migration Tour.
I will be posting the dates soon, and we will possibly have some open dates for house shows. I will keep you posted on that.
I’ll be dodging the cold, wet seattle winter this year and spending it in florida instead. I’ll be finishing up my third full-length record there and i’m extremely stoked about it.
Im also looking for engineering/recording projects, so if you are looking to make a record hit me up!
your pal,
chris
